
Liza Vizmathy, PhD
Liza is a cognitive scientist with a passion for applying research in cognitive and learning sciences to real-world challenges. After earning her PhD in Cognitive Science, she pursued postdoctoral research in child social cognition. Stepping away from academia after the birth of her second child, Liza shifted her focus to bridging science and practice. She has since been actively engaged in science communication, delivering lectures for caregivers and professionals, leading workshops for educators in Botswana and Austria, and leading public outreach events at the Central European University in Vienna.

Arianna Curioni, PhD
Arianna is a senior scientist at the University of Vienna's Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Unit and, since June 2023, the mother of Elia. She researches how adults and children learn to collaborate, what motivates cooperation, and how humans and machines work together. She leads the Together for Climate Action project, promoting pro-environmental cooperation. Passionate about public engagement, she applies cognitive and brain science to drive positive societal impact.

Flora Tosaki, MA
Flora is a communications expert and has participated in several projects dedicated to making science accessible to individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. For the past two years Flora has been involved in cognitive science research with a focus on the cognitive development of infants and children. Her expertise includes leading workshops and working with children as well as building trust with families and ensuring the rigorous implementation of scientific studies.
